On July 31, 1997, Thomas Jermaine Bryant was born in Rochester, New York. Edward and Linda Bryant gave birth to him, and he is the only child. Before going to college, Thomas attended two separate high schools.

Irondequoit, New York’s Bishop Kearney, was his first school. Bryant transferred to Huntington Prep School in Huntington, West Virginia, after spending two years there.

After inking his rookie deal with the Lakers on July 30, 2017, Bryant was waived on June 30, 2018. He was then assigned to the Lakers G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. After a solid year in the G League, Bryant was named All-NBA G League First Team.

The Los Angeles Lakers then acquired him in a trade. Bryant was later released by the Lakers and given to their G League team, the South Bay Lakers. The Washington Wizards reclaimed Bryant off waivers in 2018. The Washington Wizards currently have Thomas Bryant on their roster.
