10 Giants In Impact Wrestling You Completely Forgot About

Professional wrestling is a sport built on people who look like superheroes who became real people and jumped out of a comic book page. Looking back on legends of the business like Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, the one thing they all have in common is they are giants and make an average person look small.

Every wrestling promotion has its fair share of giants whether they are just super tall human beings who are stacked with more muscle than most would know what to do with. TNA Wrestling is no stranger to that concept. Looking back on their roster over the years. Here are a few of the biggest athletes to ever go through the Impact Zone that fans might not remember that well. Also wanted to give a shout-out to Andrew Everett who fans online will know stands at an outstanding 7'4".

10 Acey Romero

Acey Romero started his tenure with TNA back in 2019 getting a victory over Larry D during the promotion's All Glory special. Romero was quickly thrown into the X Division as he competed in a five-way ladder match at Bound for Glory. He and Larry D then formed the tag team "XXXL" and often competed against teams like The Rascalz and oVe while trying to capture the Impact Tag Team Championships.

Romero didn't stay in TNA for that long as he requested his release from the promotion in the Summer of 2021. Acey now competes on the independent circuit and has been doing tremendous work on his weight loss journey and becoming sober as he posts on Instagram.

9 Tyrus

Fans might know Tyrus as the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion who recently just retired and dropped his belt to EC3 or the Funkasaurus in WWE, Brodus Clay. If you were watching Impact Wrestling in 2014 then maybe you'll recall Tyrus who stood as the muscle behind EC3 and later Eli Drake, or LA Knight known currently.

Tyrus didn't accomplish much besides winning the Bound for Gold 12-man gauntlet match at Bound for Glory 2015. Problems backstage with booking and Jeff Jarrett specifically saw Tyrus out of the company, eventually making his way to NWA.

8 Knux

Former TNA talent, Knux, who worked as a member of the Aces & Eights faction and later as the leader of The Menagerie, which helped introduce the wrestling world to AEW's Rebel. Knux was a massive man who stood at 6 ft. 6 in. and also had a brief career in the WWE ECW brand.

Knux didn't get to do much in TNA as he was either used as the fall guy in a lot of Aces & Eights matches or picked up a few wins that didn't mean much. Knux officially departed TNA in May 2015 before finding work in promotions like the Inoki Genome Federation and the NWA.

7 Rhaka Khan

Rhaka Khan had a short career with the WWE after competing in the Diva Search and getting a contract to work in Deep South Wrestling. That didn't last as she was released within a year and was soon working in TNA as the backup for Scott Steiner and Petey Williams.

Khan's biggest moment came when she turned heel on Taylor Wilde and joined forces with Awesome Kong. Khan was accused of being stiff in the ring and didn't last long in TNA before being released after a botched Northern Lights Suplex saw Khan drive Daffney headfirst into the mat.

6 Kongo Kong

Kongo Kong started to make a name for himself when he started working under Jeff Jarrett's new wrestling promotion Global Force Wrestling. Coming to TNA after the story that saw Jarrett rebrand TNA to GFW and bring in his roster, Kong was one of the many names to do so.

In GFW and TNA, Kong didn't find much success besides entering a couple of tournaments to crown a champion or a battle royal for a vacant title. Kong was out of Impact by the Summer of 2019 as he has stated the promotion didn't have any plans for him.

5 Fallah Bahh

Fallah Bahh arrived in TNA in March 2017 and was quickly challenging names like Ethan Carter the Third for the Impact Grand Championship. Fallah didn't find a lot of success similar to other names on this list, but he was able to be on the winning team of the annual TNA Turkey Bowl for two years in a row.

Bahh most recently competed in the tournament to determine the inaugural Impact Digital Media Champion where he made it to the finals and lost to Jordynne Grace at Bound for Glory 2021. His profile was quietly removed from TNA's official website revealing that he was no longer in the promotion.

4 Judas Mesias

Judas Mesias was the son of James Mitchell and brother of TNA legend Abyss. The character was played by Ricky Banderas, also known as Mil Muertes in Lucha Underground. Mesias was used to only feud with Abyss getting a victory over him at Final Resolution 2008 and suffering a loss at the next month's show Against All Odds.

Mesias had a return match in 2013 during the One Night Only PPV where he faced James Storm in a losing effort and a victory over Joseph Park (Abyss) the following night. Outside TNA, Banderas has become a massive star in his home promotions in Mexico such as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and CMLL.

3 Tyson Tomko

Tyson Tomko did some of his best work while teaming with Christian Cage and AJ Styles during the Christian Coalition era of TNA. Tomko did find some success in the promotion such as when he captured the TNA World Tag Team Championship with AJ Styles and even won the G1 Tag League and IWGP Tag Team Championship in NJPW while contracted by TNA.

Tomko ended his contract with TNA in 2008 before returning for a short stint in 2009-2010 working a handful of matches before his profile was removed from its website. Since his time in TNA, Tomko has mostly wrestled on the indie scene in promotions like Ring Warriors and FHW Wrestling.

2 Killer Kross

Despite not being the biggest person in TNA, the promotion did a lot of work to portray the current WWE star Karrion Kross as a big man. Before coming to TNA, Kross worked in promotions such as Global Force Wrestling and Lucha Underground.

Most of Kross' time in TNA saw him help Austin Aries continue his reign as Impact World Champion before challenging the new champion, Johnny Impact, for the belt. Kross never captured any gold in the company and had some issues backstage over his contract which saw him missing a lot of time due to negotiations. He eventually got his release in December 2019 and quickly started working in NXT.

1 Rob Terry

Maybe the biggest wrestler to ever grace TNA Wrestling, Rob Terry is a massive man who almost looks not human due to his size. Also having one of the longest careers out of the previous names mentioned, Terry worked with TNA from 2009 to 2015. Terry had multiple gimmicks such as teaming with The British Invasion, Robbie E, and the aforementioned Menagerie as The Freak.

Terry was able to become a champion when he won the TNA Global Championship after beating Eric Young at a live event in his home country of Wales. Terry held the belt for 167 days before dropping it to AJ Styles on an episode of Impact.
